Church Planting
We believe that the Church still carries hope for the world. Jesus calls His people to be the light of the world, bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ into communities, cultures and places where people need to encounter God's grace.
For this reason, church planting remains a major project and strategic effort of Amazing Grace Baptist Church, Hamburg. We desire to see new Christian communities established where people can encounter Christ, grow in faith, build meaningful relationships and participate in God's mission.

Our Current Church Planting Project
Amid the global pandemic, Amazing Grace Baptist Church launched a new church planting initiative: the Baptist International Worship Center (BIWC), Hamburg, on 4 February 2021.
The project began as an online prayer ministry, creating a space where people from different backgrounds and cultures could come together in prayer, fellowship and faith.
BIWC reflects our vision of an international Christian community in Hamburg where people from different nations and language backgrounds can encounter Christ, worship together and grow as disciples.
Prayer & Fellowship
BIWC began with prayer. Our online prayer meetings provide an opportunity to seek God together, intercede for individuals, families, the city of Hamburg and the nations.
International Community
We seek to build a welcoming Christian community that reflects the diversity of Hamburg and creates space for people from different cultural and national backgrounds.
Gospel & Discipleship
Church planting is ultimately about making disciples of Jesus Christ. We desire to proclaim the Gospel, nurture faith and equip believers to live as Christ's witnesses.
English & Deutsch
Our prayer ministry uses both English and German, helping to create an accessible environment for people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
A Church for Hamburg
We believe Hamburg needs churches that can communicate the timeless Gospel within today's multicultural environment. BIWC is part of our response to that need.
A Vision Beyond Today
We are looking beyond the present to see a growing Christian community that can become a blessing to Hamburg and participate in God's mission locally and internationally.
