Evangelism & Outreach
At Amazing Grace Baptist Church, evangelism is part of who we are. We intentionally share the Gospel, reach out to people around us, and encourage every believer to become a witness for Jesus Christ.
Periodic Evangelism
We intentionally go out at periodic times to engage people with the Gospel. Through personal conversations and the distribution of Gospel tracts, we seek to introduce people to the message of Jesus Christ and invite them to consider the hope found in Him.
Family Evangelism
We place a strong emphasis on reaching families with the Gospel. We encourage Christian families to make Christ known within their homes and among relatives, recognising the family as an important place for faith to be lived, shared and passed on.
Friendship Evangelism
We encourage our members to share Christ through genuine friendships. Relationships provide natural opportunities to listen, care, build trust and introduce friends to the Gospel through both our words and our lives.
Family & Friends Sunday
Each year, we organise our Family and Friends Sunday Service as a special opportunity to invite relatives, friends and acquaintances to worship with us and hear the Gospel in a welcoming Christian community.
Evangelism in Our Preaching
Evangelism forms an essential part of our preaching. As the Word of God is proclaimed, we continually point people to Jesus Christ, the Gospel, repentance, faith and the transforming grace of God.
Evangelism in Bible Study
Evangelism is also an important part of our Sunday Bible Studies. We explore biblical principles that equip believers to understand the Gospel, communicate their faith and engage others with wisdom, love and sensitivity.
Every Believer, A Witness
At Amazing Grace Baptist Church, we do not see evangelism as the responsibility of a few people. We encourage the whole church to participate in God's mission sharing Christ wherever God has placed us.
Through periodic evangelism, family evangelism, friendship evangelism, preaching and Bible teaching, we seek to make the Gospel known in Hamburg and beyond.
